Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) focuses on providing a stable and structured environment for clients who have recently attended detox or residential treatment. This stage in the continuum of care is focused primarily on assisting clients who may still be suffering from post-acute withdrawal symptoms to feel more comfortable so they can start dealing with the physical, emotional, and mental impacts of their addiction. Clients attend a variety of individual and group therapy sessions designed to educate about addiction, understand the issues that contribute to addiction, and start to learn new skills essential to maintaining a sober life.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program is both highly structured and individualized to each client’s specific needs. Each client spends significant time in therapy to jump start their recovery process. We are staffed with highly trained licensed clinicians, medical personnel, and support staff to ensure that each client receives the attention and support needed to begin the journey into recovery with the greatest chance of success.
MAJOR LEARNING THEMES ADDRESSED IN PHP INCLUDE…
• Post-Acute Withdrawal Symptoms (PAWS) Management
education on protracted withdrawal and coping strategies to manage anxiety, physical discomfort, cravings, urges and depressive symptoms associated with acute abstinence
• Mental Health Education
education on mental health symptoms associated with withdrawal and the importance of medication management
Our Partial Hospitalization Program runs 6 days a week with community activities on Sundays.
